This past year there were two occasions where I performed as a Barney Fife Tribute Artist. The first was for a sermon I did for our church, and the 2nd was when I spoke at a college for their commencement ceremony. I have a good time doing it. I don't really look like Don, however I have worked on many of the mannerisms to make up for it. I certainly don't have the skills of the master, who has been doing it for quite sometime.I would love to do it more often as I try to perfect the act a little more. I also need to lose about 15 pounds to become a little scrawnier.
